ACWA Partners
The Salvation Army Eliza Shirley House is a non-profit organization that has been providing housing for homeless children and families for nearly 31 years. Its central Philadelphia facility can house up to 90 individuals in 35 semi-private rooms.
The ACWA supports this organization with yearly donations of essentials such as baby formula, toiletries and towels.
Women In Transition’s mission is to empower people to move forward with their lives free of domestic violence and substance abuse. They offer free and conditional services including Telephone and Crisis Counseling, Peer Support Groups, and Individual Empowerment Counseling.
The ACWA adopted a family of five in WIT’s holiday Adopt A Family program that brings some joy to families in need by providing donar funded gift cards from Amazon, Target, or Walmart.
WIT accepts donations for the Adopt A Family program each December.
Women’s Way is a non-profit coalition of seven women’s groups “dedicated to the advancement of women and girls and gender equality.”
